Rozy AI (“Rozy AI”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is an English speaking-practice app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Rozy AI mobile application on iOS and Android. By using Rozy AI you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address, name, and a unique user ID through Firebase Authentication. If you continue as a guest, an anonymous user ID is created for you. We do not collect or store passwords.

Voice & Microphone Data

With your permission, Rozy AI records your voice while you practise speaking. Your speech is sent to a third-party speech-to-text provider (Deepgram) to transcribe what you say so the app can respond and score your practice. Audio is used only to provide the practice feature and is not used to identify you. You can revoke microphone access at any time in your device settings.

Conversation Content

The messages and transcribed speech you send are processed by AI providers (such as OpenAI and Microsoft Azure OpenAI) to generate Rozy's replies and feedback. AI-generated responses may not always be accurate or complete.

Learning Progress

Your lessons, streaks, saved words, mistakes, and practice results are stored (locally and in Firebase) so your progress is available across sessions.

Usage & Diagnostics

We collect basic usage data such as feature usage, app interactions, and crash and performance reports to improve the app and user experience.

Purchases

If you buy a subscription, the purchase is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and entitlements are managed through RevenueCat. We do not collect or store your payment card or banking information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and maintain app functionality
Transcribe your speech and generate AI responses and feedback
Save your learning progress across sessions
Manage free and premium features
Improve app performance and stability
Prevent misuse and fraud

3. AI Response Disclaimer

• Rozy AI uses artificial intelligence to generate responses.
• AI-generated responses may not always be accurate, complete, or correct.
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of AI-generated content.
• AI responses should not be considered professional advice.

4. Learning Results Disclaimer (Important)

Rozy AI is designed to support English learning and practice, but learning progress depends on the user. We do not guarantee that any user will become fluent or achieve a specific level of English within a fixed time (example: 2 months).

Results may vary based on factors such as:

Practice consistency
Learning habits
Personal skills and effort
Real-life speaking practice

Rozy AI is not responsible if a user does not improve or does not reach expected learning results.

5. Updates & Improvements

We continuously work to improve Rozy AI. Features, AI responses, and app performance may change with updates. We may fix bugs, improve accuracy, or modify features in future versions without prior notice.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

We may share data only with trusted third-party services required to operate the app, including:

Firebase (authentication, analytics, and storage)
Deepgram (speech-to-text transcription)
OpenAI and Microsoft Azure OpenAI (AI responses)
Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat (subscriptions and purchases)

Each third party processes data according to their own privacy policies.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Rozy AI is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
