How to test your English level

The test has two parts. First, answer 15 grammar and vocabulary questions that range from beginner to advanced. Then, speak or write a short response to show how you use English in practice. Your result includes a CEFR level (A1 to C1), a pronunciation clarity score if you spoke, the mistakes we spotted, and a personalised plan for what to practise next. Everything runs in your browser — Rozy doesn't store your answers or your voice.

What your level means

A1
Beginner. You understand and use very basic phrases: introducing yourself, simple questions and everyday words.
A2
Elementary. You can handle simple, routine situations like shopping, directions and talking about your family or job in short sentences.
B1
Intermediate. You can deal with most everyday situations, describe experiences and give simple reasons, though longer conversations get hard.
B2
Upper-intermediate. You can talk about many topics with some fluency, follow longer discussions and explain your opinions clearly.
C1
Advanced. You express ideas fluently and precisely, and cope with complex language. Most of your remaining mistakes are small.
